Welcome to the Jamestown Uniting Church website.

Jamestown is part of the Goyder Ministry Area, which encompasses Orroroo, Carrieton, Clements Gap, Hallett, Mundoora, Whyte Yarcowie and Jamestown. We are located in the Northern Highlands in the Mid North of South Australia and are surrounded by mixed farming, the historic Bundaleer Forest, and transversed by the small and winding Belalie Creek, which is a picturesque waterway, lined by  reeds and gently grassed slopes. Jamestown is a small rural service town known for its sporting enthusiasts (come and see our lawned and hard tennis courts, netball courts, bowling green, oval and huge sports shed). We also have great support facilities including two schools, five churches, a hospital and medical centre and a variety of interesting shops.

The Jamestown Uniting Church is also a member of the Goyder Ministry Area and is currently seeking a new permanent minister but have a Supply Minister. The Leadership Team in our church is a small but keen group of Christians who actively support the ministry provided in the church through formal services each Sunday. We are also keen to have this ministry extended  into our local community, and while we are still learning how to do this, God is giving us the vision and the means to share our faith in this way.
